This is OAEA's series of juried group exhibitions that began three years ago. It is open to art educators from around the State of Oregon. (OAEA's board does not jury the work, rather we ask professional artists to do that for us, or the gallery director who is hosting the show.)

BEYOND THE DEMOS IV

Art group art exhibition featuring the artwork of Oregon art educators.
Co-sponsored by Oregon Art Education Association and the Clackamas Community College Visual Art Department.

Submission Fee:
OAEA members = FREE! MUST include your membership number with your submission. You can become a member of the NAEA/OAEA at https://www.arteducators.org/ click JOIN or Renew.

Non-OAEA/NAEA members = $20, payable to OAEA

Your work will not be reviewed until membership number or $20.00 is received.

Timeline:
June 25: Submission fees due. OAEA members are free, but you must supply you membership number.

July 3, 2009: Artists should send electronic submission of up to 3
works with title, medium, dimensions and date. Medium to high res JPEG
{about 300 DPI 6”x8”]. Also send an Artist Statement and Bio.
Provide your NAEA/OAEA membership number. E-mail these to Rick True at rtrue@clackamas.edu. Notification within two weeks by e-mail.

August 10: deadline for work delivered to the Art Department CCC (19600 S. Molalla Ave.,Oregon City, OR 97045),
call ahead to confirm we will be in the office

August 17 - October 2, 2009: show dates

October 1: Reception, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

October 5th and 6th: pick up work or make arrangements for pick up.
