Spotlight on Aloha High School, Aloha, OR

Jessica Wall, a junior at Aloha High School, was one of 30 finalists in the Lucerne Art of Dairy contest. At the beginning of March she received a plaster cow to paint her design on. Over the course of three weeks 15 students helped Jessica to create her vision entitled: Hiroshima. Results for the contest should be posted by the middle of May on the Lucerne Art of Dairy website.



SCHOLASTIC ART EVENTS


Thank you to all the teachers and students who participated in the Northwest Region of the Scholastic Art Awards. It was a banner year with 2100 pieces of art that included 54 art portfolios and 20 photography portfolios. OAEA Scholarship 2008 Winners Announced

Scholarship funds given to a high school senior from Oregon pursuing post high school art studies in an accredited Visual Arts or Arts Education program. This years winners are: Mike Abbate, Lakeridge HS; Josie Silberbach, Lakeridge HS; Cassie Poulson, Lakeridge HS.
